You can pay by either card or bank transfer. We accept most debit and credit cards excluding American Express, with no extra charges for credit cards. 

We also offer finance through our chosen partner Phoenix and we also offer Klarna payments too.

Our log cabins are constructed using tongue and groove interlocking logs that fit tightly together during construction for a weather proof build that still allows for the timber to naturally contract and expand.

Inside each kit is a installation manual. Read through it and any questions do not hesitate to contact us

Unless otherwise stated all our timber buildings are constructed using soft wood either Nordic Spruce or Scandinavian Pine, that has been responsibly sourced.

Yes we do offer a bespoke service, all we would need from you is a simple sketch showing the layout, roof type, dimensions and location of any windows and doors and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a quotation for your Garden building.

The assembly of a garden shed is usually regulated by local authority regulations. Prior to ordering, enquire about the applicable regulations from your local authority. We will be happy to provide you with any technical data sheets and static calculations for your garden room. Most of our buildings do not require planning permission but if you are in doubt it is always best to check with your local authority. We do not hold any responsibility for any building installed without planning permission.

Our Buildings are delivered free to your home address, road access must be suitable for a 40 Tonne HGV, Unloading is carried out using a truck mounted Forklift. If you need a different method of delivery please contact us and we will try to assist you.

When purchasing a Garden Building, the Foundations are very important. We require a Firm Level area to which we fix your garden building to. We recommend Slabs, Concrete or Decking.

Most log cabins and summerhouses are classed as temporary buildings and as such do not usually require planning permission. There are however a few criteria that the building must adhere to.

 
It’s not larger than 50% of your garden size. It isn’t built past the front of your house. Its eaves and roof height don’t exceed the regulations (especially if built within 2m of a boundary) It’s a single-storey structure.

The provision within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse of a building for any purpose incidental to the enjoyment of that dwellinghouse or the alteration, maintenance or improvement of such a building.

(1) Development is not permitted by this class if—

  1. it consists of a dwelling;
  2. any part of the development would be forward of a wall forming part of the principal elevation or side elevation where that elevation fronts a road;
  3. the height of the eaves would exceed 2.5 metres;
  4. any part of the development would exceed 4 metres in height;
  5. any part of the development within 1 metre of the boundary of the curtilage of the dwellinghouse would exceed 2.5 metres in height;
  6. as a result of the development the area of ground covered by development within the front or rear curtilage of the dwellinghouse (excluding the original dwellinghouse and any hard surface or deck) would exceed 50% of the area of the front or rear curtilage respectively (excluding the ground area of the original dwellinghouse and any hard surface or deck);

Angus Timber Cabins cannot be held liable for any planning issues that may arise, it is up to the customer to establish whether planning permission or building warrant is required.

You will require a Phillips screwdriver, wood drill, cordless screwdriver, torx Screwdriver, Stanley knife, spirit level, string, hammer, pencil, wood glue, ladders, saw, inch rule, 100mm DPC, base fixings.  At all times ensure safe handling and secure footing. All required Screws and fixings are enclosed in the Kit.

Assembly should be carried out by more than one person.

Read the assembly instructions thoroughly and check the kit against the part list.

Ensure my base is level. We recommend placing Damp proof membrane on the floor joists, We also recommend Securing the Floor Joists to your base,  if you are unsure what to purchase please contact us and we will advise accordingly.
